I guess having poop as a tag is kind of fun in it’s own right.  If I was totally lame (which I am from time to time) I would have said “in it’s own wright.”

See?  Totally lame.

New York got some snow today!  Nothing that stuck, unfortunately, but it was still fun to walk around while there were flurries.  According to accuweather, however, there’s some serious stuff about to go down… kind of.  I just checked their site which displayed the following warning:

“WITH TEMPERATURES DROPPING INTO TO THE 20S AND LOWER 30S ACROSS THE AREA…ANY STANDING WATER ON UNTREATED SURFACES WILL FREEZE OVERNIGHT. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION WHEN VENTURING OUT TONIGHT AND INTO THE MORNING COMMUTE.”

Other than the fact that this “warning” is pretty tame, I believe that whoever wrote it must be paid by the word, as there is a much more brief way to say the above passage, two words, really.

Black ice.  Put me on the accuweather writing crew, coach.  I’m ready.

MOUSEWATCH:  I know there were some readers interested in naming any mice caught in the future, but Jackie found another mouse in the trap today and has already named it.  Keeping in lock step with my cheese theme for names, mouse number four will now be referred to as Muenster.  Considering now that it’s cold enough to snow, I’m afraid of letting Muenster out outside.  I don’t want the little guy to freeze to death.

Decisions, decisions.
