LIVESTREAM UPDATE:

No stream this week, apologies!

END LIVESTREAM UPDATE!

Some additional fallout from playing more Resident Evil 6 last week.  Of all the campaigns, I was perhaps the most excited for Jake’s, as his partner character was Sherry.

Sherry, for those of you who aren’t fans of the Resident Evil series, was last seen wandering around Raccoon City as a little girl who needed some serious rescuing in RE2.  This time around she’s an adult working as a government operative.

Pretty awesome.

Unfortunately it appears as she and Jake downed an entire bottle of stupid pills before going on their adventure.

The above comic is not an exaggeration: Sherry literally stared at that barred door and had to take an alternate route.  That door had far apart bars, and the wooden plank barring it shut was right under the opening.

She could have comfortably put her arms through and remove the bar.

Sherry… please, I want to like you.  Jake is already a trainwreck…

…speaking of trainwrecks…

No, my subway train didn’t crash, but it was pretty delayed going home last night.  The subway platform was full of people standing shoulder to shoulder.

The stairs to go on to the platform were full of people standing shoulder to shoulder.

The particular stairwell I was stuck on must have had at least seventy people on it.  There we stood, motionless, waiting for a train to arrive.

“PLEASE STEP DOWN THE STAIRS!”

A bunch of us turned our heads around, there was a lady at the top of the stairwell who suddenly decided she was more important than the people waiting in front of her.

“STEP DOWN THE STAIRS, KEEP THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC MOVING, I WANT TO GO DOWN THE STAIRS!”

Yeah, so did the rest of us.

“MOVE DOWN THE STAIRS!”

I wasn’t particularly interested in getting into a shouting match with a crazy person, so I kept my mouth shut.  However, if anyone were to yell back at her something to the effect of, “WHERE DO  YOU WANT US TO MOVE?  THERE IS NO SPACE LEFT ON THE PLATFORM, USE YOUR EYES!” he/she would have been my hero.
