The next livestream will be this Friday, May 8th at 7pm est!  Will there be doodling? Yeah!  Will there be chatting? Yeah!  Will there be games afterward? YEAH!

Not sure what the game will be once the doodle is done.  Maybe more Child of Light, maybe Mario Kart… maybe even Snowboard Kids, which was mentioned by a viewer last week… who knows?

You can watch the stream here or here.

See you then!

Someday Nintendo will learn how to handle the internet.  At the moment they treat it as something we need protection from: their communication options are comically limited in Mario Kart 8.  Sure, there is voice communication, but only in game rooms between friends; there is no open chat in general online play.

Nintendo either has to have full online communication available, or none at all.  Enough of this teasing us with table scraps.  What are they protecting us from… bad language?  Kids already know plenty of (if not all) the bad words out there.  Inappropriate content?  It’s chatting in a kart racing game, what would a kid hear there that they couldn’t just as easily find somewhere else online?

Do kids need some form of protection?  Sure… but figuring out the right amount is pretty hairy.

[Name Redacted] occasionally cuts Jackie’s hair in the kitchen.  Just like in a salon, Jackie will sit down, have a towel around her shoulders/neck, scissors… you know, haircutting stuff.

In order to keep us from using the haircutting towel, it was last left on a chair in the middle of the room.

Guess who spaced out and went to dry his hands with that towel, getting a bajillion little bits of hair stuck to his hands?

This guy.
