KOTAKU SUNDAY COMICS VOTE THINGY:

Hey guys, like last year, Corpse Run is in the running for the Kotaku Sunday Comics weekly feature!  With your awesome help last time, I was fortunate enough to get in!

It’s voting time again, and I’d like to reach out to you fine folks for help.  If you’d like, you can follow this link and lend Corpse Run a vote, which I’d super super appreciate!

END KOTAKU SUNDAY COMICS VOTE THINGY!

Normally I’d have that big ol’ LIVESTREAM UPDATE thing here, but today’s post is livestream related, so I’ll just get right into it.  The next livestream will be this Friday September 27th at 10pm est!

My plan is to finish up Resident Evil 4, so I guess we’ll marathon until it’s done.

First off, I’d like to give a shout out to everyone who viewed last week’s stream.  It.  Was.  Long.  Like, really long.  Six hours long.  Some of you wacky guys stayed the entire time, which totally blew me away.  You folks make me love doing these things.

If you missed the stream and wanted to check it out, here it is:

For some reason my livestream channel didn’t save the recording, so I just put it up on Youtube.  You might notice that the title is “Let’s Play Resident Evil 4 (part 3)” and that there’s no part one or two up yet… yeah… I’ll get those up soon.

Anyways, for those of you who scrubbed through the video, you might have come across a part where you see Ashley Graham’s inventory screen and hear me grunting and moaning for a few minutes.

 It starts at 2:49:55.

Those of you who’ve read through the archives/watched a bunch of the livestreams might already be aware that I have a mild connective tissue problem; roughly two or three times day, my toes dislocate and I pop them back in.

So when my middle toe went AWOL during the stream, it wasn’t a big deal.

Initially.

For some reason, I was unable to relocate the toe.  Every time I set it back in place, it’d slide a little and then pop out.  The next few minutes went as follows:

Pull toe into socket.  Toe momentarily stays in place.  Toe pops out.  Grunt/moan/complain.  Apologize for taking so long.  Repeat.

I eventually got fed up and duct taped the toe to my… index toe?  I don’t know if toe names follow finger naming conventions, but if they do I taped my middle toe to my index toe in order to keep it from moving around.  Check out the handywork:

Now this might come as a surprise, but despite the amazing quality of my self applied medical care, I’m actually not a doctor.

And what put the cherry on top?  When removing the duct tape the following morning it ripped off almost all of my toe hair.

Awesome.
