Corpse Run 352: Makes perfect
LIVESTREAM UPDATE:
Oh man, it’s almost Friday, which means it’s almost livestream time! The next livestream will be this Friday, October 4th at 10pm est! As of Monday, I hadn’t yet decided what game we’d be tackling, but now I’ve got an idea: Tales of Symphonia!
It’s been at least a year or two since I’ve played ToS, and considering it’s my favorite game, that’s too long a time. Join us as I die much less than I did in Resident Evil 4!
(hopefully)
You can watch the stream either here or here.
See you then!
END LIVESTREAM UPDATE!
I don’t think I’ve completed any story chapters in Fire Emblem: Awakening in over a week. That’s not to say that I haven’t played the game, however: I’ve been buying/using tons of reeking boxes in order to create enemy encounters and level up my party.
Additional encounters means additional on-field shiny squares, each of which could mean one of a few things: an item, exp, or weapon proficiency.
Items… I can understand going out of the way for items: your army is in the heat of battle and new equipment might save a life/make the difference/etc.
The other two, however… characters will make some point about “sneaking in” or “quickly grabbing” some practice time on the battlefield as if it’s a good thing. Practice? You’re in the middle of an enemy encounter… get your head in the game!
Story time!
In retrospect, this story is kind of gross so… sorry in advance.
My brain has a few jobs:
1. Control all basic bodily functions (breathing, heart beating, etc.)
2. Come up with tons and tons of random things.
3. Filter those thoughts and act only upon the good ones.
If there’s any process out of those three that I’d prefer fail, it’d be #3, but ideally that wouldn’t happen.
It totally happened a few days ago.
There was a random toenail clipping on my desk and suddenly, I had the urge to see what would happen if I set it on fire. Using a pair of scissors to cradle the nail, I carefully positioned it above my scented candle.
Almost instantaneously it blackened, shrunk, and coiled up into a spiral.
Also, it smelled horrendous. Like, burning dead body horrendous.
I don’t really know what I was expecting, but this heinous odor lasted for hours.
HOURS.
So, just in case you ever suddenly had the desire/means to burn a stray toenail, don’t.
I’ve done it so you don’t have to.
ToS huh? That’s the tales of game that got me and my bro into that series (he’s played it loads of times). I don’t know if I mentioned this here before or not, but the 1000 GRADE bonus earned at the end of the game seems to multiply on each consecutive playthrough. My brother finished, like a 5th time and found he had TONS of GRADE for the shop, even tho he HAD been using some to carry essentials over. I imagine it adds an extra 1000 for each extra playthrough (so for 5th time, it would’ve been 6000 bonus)
Well the little nail story was interesting and I did not need to know that.
Alex just so you know…burning hair? Same long hanging stench when it gets burned.
Also it takes a very long time for eyebrows to grow back.
FAKE AND ***!!!!
everyone knows Fredrick doesn’t take damage 😀
