I had a hankering to play Breath of the Wild again (despite my initial so-soness on the game) so I picked up the Switch version Saturday and spent some time with it.  I get the feeling that my second shot at BotW will be immensely more enjoyable than the first now that I know that it isn’t going to give me a traditional Zelda experience.

Playing it purely as an exploration/wandering around game feels much more fun thus far.  I’ll get around to the main quest stuff in bits and pieces, but otherwise I’m treating this as The Elder Scrolls: Zelda Edition, but with better movement options and being able to truly climb basically everything.

…and eating all the apples.
