Corpse Run 1,102: Hz, don’t it?
Awwwwwwww yeahhhhhh new gaming monitor boiiiiii.
The higher refresh rate is totally nice, but the real star of the initial impressions are how much better the color is on a new IPS panel vs my six year old TN panel. It’s like, too colorful almost.
It’s going to take some getting used to, but it’s still super cool!
The colors are always oversaturated for use in big, bright store rooms when you get the thing. Consider changing the colorsaturation in the monitor to normal and then calibrate the colors further using an online tool. That should allow you to get clear and vivid colors without being the oversaturated mess the average consumer expects.
Source: Did this on my old Dell IPS that’s aimed content creators in an office setting and it’s amazing how great colors can actually look.
The colors man, THE COLORS!
I have a 144 Hz monitor that I run at 120 Hz. I notice no frame differences.
