Corpse Run 946: The Lucian
So after giving up on Final Fantasy XV last year I’ve decided to bite the bullet and try giving it a second go around. I quit after about ten hours last time so I figured I’d start from the beginning to regain my bearings and ease back into the experience…
…I already am going nuts over how bad the car is and how the game is basically a single player MMORPG.
It’s booooooooring.
Let’s see if I grow to like it this time!
I’m currently trying FF8 again. It’s very grindy, but since I’m playing on an emulator now I have a fast forward option which makes it a lot more bearable.
I also know about the level scaling now, which I wasn’t aware of before this play through, so everything is a lot easier as well.
Honestly, your best bet might be to just ignore the sidequests, nearly all of them are terrible. And sadly, the car never really gets any better so use the fast-travel whenever possible and make Ignis drive to your destination while you do something else for the rest.
I rarely drove myself (really only at night) and let Ignis take the wheel virtually all of the time. While he’s driving, you can just into the menus to plan your next skill tree move, swap equipment, look around the map to plan your next move, etc., so that when you get to wherever you’re going, you can just jump into the action.
