Corpse Run 995: I wish this was a joke
So this genuinely happened over the weekend… kind of. Key difference:
- I was at my girlfriend’s house lounging with her when we asked her Alexa
So… kiiiiinda different, but other than that, her Alexa gave me that response and I was floored. Her Alexa also gave a weird response later in the day. We were talking about the word “schmutz” and how in my opinion, people use it. When we asked the Alexa for the definition of schmutz, it responded with the winter months in Nigeria.
We asked again, it gave the definition of butts.
Asked again, it gave the definition of smarts.
Why, Alexa… why?
Heh, I’ve started to notice some wonkiness in Google’s mapping. Some days it will send me on entirely different paths, with seemingly no reason. Other days, it will send me ways I know are longer and more complicated. Starting to wonder if it’s actually attained self-awareness and is just messing with people. XD
Maybe it’s checking to see if we’ve attained self-awareness…
I heard that a pair of ladies (who were friends, not lesbians) who were visiting relatives and tour spots in Arizona, but got stuck in the desert for many hours while driving because their car’s gps misled them on a route that was actually a part of the Oregon Trail, and not a modern route (entirely the system’s fault).
I think they had to wait for an hours after their gas ran out, and thus the life saving AC went kaput when the battery died some time later. They lived, even if they were a bit dehydrated, but they would have died for sure if they had left the car to walk.
