Kat’s Korner 177: So long, Sparano!
Keeping in line with the football theme from yesterday (but moving a way from ponies for just a second), let’s have a moment of silence for our recently fired offensive coordinator, Tony Sparano.
…
Now that the moment has passed, I look forward to actually seeing the ball move forward next season. Seriously, the Sparano offense was one of the lamest, least successful, boring squads I’ve ever seen.
Well, maybe “boring” is a little inaccurate; the Jets offense was a season long blooper reel.
My bottles of Jets wine are waiting to be opened and now have set dates: bottle one gets uncorked once we pick our new GM, and bottle two will be enjoyed on day one of the 2013 draft!
Is Sparano really to blame for the lack of offense?
I mean, even going to the 2012 season, would you have said that ANY of the Jets offensive players were Pro Bowl material? And wasn’t it you who said that any Jets offensive player is undraftable in fantasy?
I agree that Sparano’s offense didn’t necessarily help the Jets, but what was expected from him? You can’t make gold out of poop.

Sparano and Rex are both to blame. They started sanchez way longer than necessary. They could be in this round of the playoffs with just one simple change. Use the Tebow. Worst year in NFL history where Tim Tebow sat on the bench of a team that needed him. Jets 2012-2013 ruined football forever.
