Corpse Run 336: Nap time
Lil’ bit of Futurama humor today!
Most nights at camp, the head staff members have some kind of meeting after counselor curfew (especially towards the end of the summer). A few nights ago was no different.
I came into the director’s cabin lounge around midnight expecting to discuss end of summer operations, but all the lights were off, and Dan, Jen, and Armen were all passed out of the three couches.
Someone’s phone was playing soothing rainforest noises.
After silently mouthing “what the heck?” I figured I’d temporarily join in the nap-fest.
Dan had removed some of his couch cushions; I took one, tossed it on the floor, and dozed off.
The next thing I know it’s the following morning and I’m somehow on Dan’s couch, with Dan nowhere in sight. I guess he left in the middle of the night and I was tired of sleeping on the floor.
The moral of the story? Never nap… ever. You’ll miss stuff and end up waking well after you intended.
Maybe one thousand years after.
I just woke up from a nap! One hour is never enough and you just keep hitting snooze… And now I’m watching Futurama!
I got to bed to sleep, sleep for 6 hours, I lay back in my chair to nap, wake up 12 hours later…. something’s wrong somewhere… and I hate it.

ZZZzzzzzzzzz. Your comics just aren’t fun if they make zero sense unless we read through the writing at the bottom, in which case you’re having to EXPLAIN why it’s supposed to be funny in the first place 🙁
It is fail.
Back to vidya games please, instead of inside jokes.
Except a lot of us LIKE these. :C
That is exactly why I don’t take naps.
