Corpse Run 385: By your powers combined…
LIVESTREAM UPDATE:
The next livestream will be this Friday, January 31st at 7pm est! I really liked the 7pm starting time, and it seemed to go will with you guys too. Despite the earlier start, the stream didn’t finish early; we ended up going to bed just after 2 am. Seven hours… that nuts!
Many thanks to everyone who was there, regulars and newcomers alike. I had a lot of fun, and I hope to see you (and your wacky doodling suggestions) next time!
END LIVESTREAM UPDATE!
I can’t remember the last time I saw an episode of Captain Planet, but I bet you anything that Mr. Torgue would love to be an honorary Planeteer, what his is element of EXPLOSION!
The element types in Borderlands always seemed strange, by the way. Fire, Electricity, Corrosive, Explosion, and Slag (which was added in Borderlands 2 as a alien element).
Fire, Electricity, Corrosive, Slag… I get those. Sure, they aren’t elements on a periodic table, but they’re elements in a supernatural/mythic sense.
Explosion, however… those are just bullets that blow up.
Is explosion really an element? Is heart?
Mr. Torgue might have a “not really an element” kindred spirit in Ma-Ti.
Finally, a quick PSA regarding food: Remember to eat.
Before taking the train home to my apartment Sunday morning, I quickly consumed a 7Eleven burrito. Delicious stuff. Getting home took about two hours, then I took an hour long nap, followed by making the comic.
Suddenly it was 10pm and I realized I had nothing to eat all day outside of the burrito. My stomach was not pleased.
Remember to eat, folks. It’s fun and healthy!
WIN WIN!
“By our powers combined! We are Captain Planet!”***
*Captain planet appears, then immediately blows up*
((*** I hope I got the words right))
Anyway. On a live-stream related note, did you try out that Phoenix Wright website I mentioned towards the end? (http://aceattorney.sparklin.org). Some very cool fan made cases. (Look for ‘Turnabout Escort’, I think it’s FINE!)
I think that they should have used life instead of heart. It makes more sense to me like that.
