Corpse Run 599: Tall vs Wide
Let me tell you a tale, a tale of guacamole and sadness.
Once upon a time, there was a dashing young lad who wanted some guacamole. This young lad was kind of lazy, so instead of making guac from scratch, he merely mashed up an avocado and mixed it with some salsa.
So happy he was, about to eat the delicious green mixture, but he was not ready… he had something to attend to. He left the bowl of guac on his computer desk to patiently wait for his return.
However, things often don’t go as planned.
As he turned away from his desk he knocked the bowl over and in super ultra slow motion the bowl began it’s descent to the carpeted floor below.
“I should try to catch this,” the left side of his brain thought.
“That’s a fantastic idea,” replied the right side.
But just like the plan to eat the guac, this did not go as planned either, for each side of his brain thought the other side totally had things under control and would take care of the situation, but neither did.
The young lad watched, unmoving, as the bowl completed its fall, violently making contact with the ground and splattering guacamole…
…on the floor…
…on the computer chair…
…on the legs of the computer table…
…on the bed…
…on all of the clothes littered about the floor…
…for a long time the young lad sat and stared in disbelief, but eventually he solemnly took action. He cleaned up the mess, not with paper towels, but with three spare socks he decided he no longer needed…
…because he is kind of stupid like that.
And you didn’t take a photo first?
What a wonderful tale. We need more bedtime stories like this
That really sucks. Never thought I’d see avocados being associated with tragedy.
Your RSS feed is still dead to my firefox.
If they weren’t unfortunate messes, we wouldn’t call them accidents, we’d refer to them as ‘pleasant surprises’! ;)p
And that young man’s name?
Albert Einstein.
