Corpse Run 1,058: I mean what the absolute heck
Ok so I’m totally sure that this is not an original joke/criticism of Kingdom Hearts, but I just started playing Kingdom Hearts III on twitch and I basically don’t know anything about the series so this is fresh to me.
I played the original KH yeaaaaarsssss ago but didn’t finish it and I haven’t played any of the KH stuff that has come out in the years since. Essentially, I don’t know anything about the series, so I figured it’d be fun to play the most recent game and try to figure out what the hell is going on. Roughly four hours in, I am stunned by the nonsense and am going wild trying to figure out who everyone is and why Mickey Mouse traveled to like, hell or something to rescue someone named Aqua.
Mickey basically gave up and said that he didn’t train hard enough… he didn’t train hard enough to fight the forces of hell.
Wat.
Yeah, Kingdom is absolutely NOT the series that you want to introduce yourself to with the latest game. Good luck with that. Play from the beginning and you will be stunned by just how much the nonsense starts to be decipherable after a while. Or I’ve just gone crazy.
kingdom hearts 3 is very poorly paced in that it drops loads of lore on you, then almost nothing while you enjoy the disney worlds for 80% of the game, and then at the end it drops even more lore on you. I played every kingdom hearts and even I was confused at the amount of lore hastily shoved into my face at the end.
There is no sense, there is only Disney. Accept the Disney, it will have your soul soon

No, even reading through the plots of the previous games are not going to help you. It started out pretty straight-forward, and just got… weird as time went on.
