Corpse Run 303: The joys of repetition
LIVESTREAM UPDATE:
Hey folks, the next livestream will be this Friday, April 19th at 10pm est!
If you happened to miss the last one and wanted to check it out, you can watch it here: part 1, part 2.
END LIVESTREAM UPDATE!
I’d like to clarify that while I’m poking some fun at the addition of Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode to Borderlands 2, I plunked down the five dollars for it (like everyone else, I’m sure).
After spending just a few hours with the expansion, all I can say is this:
Holy $#!^
Seriously, the new mode is… well… it’s not difficult, really; it’s more… challenging. The enemies have four times the health and can regenerate health, making regular encounters take significantly longer to finish.
These changes force you to really pay attention to everything you’re doing, which is fun, but UVHM thus far feels more like an endurance test rather than adding to the wonderful experience that is Borderlands 2.
I’m still going to play the heck out of it, though.
Something I’ve tried to make a ritual out of recently is remembering to take out the garbage after livestreams. Normally after a stream concludes, I forget and immediately go to bed, only to wake up the next morning and curse myself once I notice the almost overflowing trash can in the kitchen.
This past Friday, however, I totally remembered to take out the trash, awesome! Once back inside, I went to the kitchen to put a new bag in the can when
squish
Apparently there was some goop on the bottom of the bag that I just took out which was now on the floor.
And now on my foot.
I let out an audible “nooooooo,” replaced the bag, and carefully maneuvered my way to the bathroom, where I washed my foot in the tub.
Hopefully next time I’ll forget the trash like normal.
Oh god. That’s disgusting.
It absolutely was =P
Coop helps. Slag helps a lot more. Slag damage multiplication was changed from 2x to 3x. Seraph weapons are also buffed up for the patch. In fact, I used a level 50 Interfacer (from Sir Hammerlock’s DLC) all the way until level 61.
Yep! I’m currently using Axton’s slag turret, so that helps immensely!
Didn’t the dev say earlier that it was impossible to raise the level cap for some obscure reason?
