Corpse Run 364: Boo birds
LIVESTREAM UPDATE:
The next livestream will be this Friday, November 15th at 9pm est! I’ll be doodling your suggestions (to the totally hip tunes from Disney movies) and chatting it up.
Also, unless things take much longer than anticipated, we’ll finish the Tales of Symphonia run. Sweet!
You can watch the stream either here or here.
See you then!
END LIVESTREAM UPDATE!
After last week’s Mario Tennis strip, I had another idea floating around in which the first panel is just a crowd booing as loudly as they can, and the second panel is Boo holding a trophy or something, smiling.
I wasn’t too happy with that, so it got shelved. Then I remembered that old Simpsons episode where the Springfield hosts a film festival or something, and Mr. Burns’ movie gets booed.
WHY NOT COMBINE THE TWO? Bam. Strip.
I’m dumb.
In other TV related news, at Rich’s suggestion (and a lingering desire over the last few years to do so) I started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender this week.
So far, it’s awesome! I find it a little weird, however, that despite the serious subject matter it has predominately been a comedy in the early going.
I get the feeling that the tone will change down the road.
Then again, when I saw this scene, I totally lost my mind laughing:
Maybe it should stay comedic. Seriously, that’s a riot.
Welcome to the Avatar fandom my brother!! Yes, the 1st season is generally more “comedy” oriented. But the second and third season really pick up the drama, and it becomes amazing, especially the episodes involving Zuko (wont say what happens, but its awesome). And the new series Legend of Korra is all pure drama with a dash of comedy. And the last few episodes have blown my mind.
Another great comic, haha! 😀 …and a very good idea to start watching the last airbende4. In my opinion it’s one of the best animated series in the last few years. I’ve watched the whole series a couple of times (like 20+ or more) and NEVER get sick of it. Not like I’m a fanatic, but this show just has a great humour and the story plus the setting are unique if you ask me. Sorry, something went wrong with my internet connection up there, haha! 😀
Just enjoy reading twice! 😛
