LIVESTREAM UPDATE:

Once again, I was super happy to see some new folks at last week’s stream!  Thanks for coming!  Usually streams happen on Friday nights, but I’ll be gone this weekend on a ski trip.  With that in mind, the next livestream will be this Thursday, February 6th at 7pm est.

Hope to see you then!

END LIVESTREAM UPDATE!

While I’m sure it would slow the game down if Link had to constantly wash his bottles before refilling them, he should be given the option to do so.

Something like, if you wash a bottle before refilling it, the next potion/soup/milk/etc is 100% pure, making it more potent.  If you don’t wash it, you won’t get 100% effectiveness, but you do get a slight mixing of effects from the current and previous potions.  From there on out, you can experiment with different potion mixtures in order to create an optimal elixir for any situation.

The Legend of Zelda: Link learns Chemistry.

Jackie just walked into the room.  I will now type what she says:

“Reading is knowledge and knowledge is power and you know it makes so much sense that this is the assignment from the classroom management person because the article we’re reading is about how to ensure that 100% of students are doing what they should without the teacher having to intervene correctly.  To make sure we complete our assignments without needing an intervention explicitly stating that we were correct or incorrect, we must do a double journal entry where in the left column you pick two to three quotes and in the right column you react to them and explain why you chose them, which pretty much forces you to read everything.  So it follows the process of the chapter I’m reading now, saying that the actions a teacher does choose should leave little option for the students to do otherwise.  I mean, I guess I could not do that assignment at all and just pick three random quotes.  [stuff I missed]  She’s managing us.”

What you guys were unable to witness while I was typing this is that Jackie had to speak relatively slowly and shortly paused between sentence so I could keep up.

Even so, I still missed a bit near the end.

I guess I should cross off stenographer from the list of potential future occupations.  Noooooooooooooooooo!
