Corpse Run 435: 2236ish
Pepto Bismol tastes weird, but more on that in a moment.
I’m still playing Resident Evil 2 in my spare time, and after finishing up Leon A scenario, I’m doing Claire A.
For the most part, everything is pretty much the same thus far. The dialogue has changed a small bit, but nothing earth shattering…
…except for the differences in items.
How is it that when Claire is exploring the Raccoon City Police Department, key items have completely changed? It’s hard to believe that Leon gets all of his puzzle items before Claire enters the same rooms for hers, and even if he did, the items that Claire gets would still be there… how did Leon not see them/pick them up?
Also, if the argument is that Claire A is paired with Leon B and vice-versa, that still wouldn’t explain the complete disappearance of each characters key items from the others scenario.
Regarding the weapons cache, Leon finds a shotgun while Claire gets a grenade launcher. I suppose that means that Clair got to it first, and took the superior weapon… but wouldn’t she also take the shotgun? It’s a shotgun! It’ll come in handy!
Then again, in Leon A scenario he absolutely gets to the weapons first, because he finds Chris’ dairy and shows it to Claire, which means…
…Leon either opened up a weapons closet and totally didn’t notice a grenade launcher sitting there, or he decided a grenade launcher would be of no use in a city full of monsters.
Either one is pretty unbelievable.
In other news, I had my fourth visit to JFK yesterday, this time to drop off some campers for a flight back to France. Somewhere along the way, my throat was killing me, but I didn’t think too much of it.
Fast forward to three a.m. Sunday morning when I woke up in a cold sweat, body sore, super nauseous, and shaking uncontrollably. Since that time I’ve been taking some pills and Pepto, but ooph, I could definitely be feeling better right about now.
maybe he thought grenade launcher would be bad considering he might hit him self in the explosion?
I dunno, I didn’t really find grenade launchers useful in Resident Evil 5, so I’m guessing it would be the same in the previous games.
Also, grenades for the grenade launcher were hella rare and expensive.
