END LIVESTREAM UPDATE!
Man, that’s a lot of updates! Well, two… but that’s like double the normal amount, so…
Also, I know I’m dumping on Borderlands: the Pre-Sequel again, but I’ll confess the game isn’t the train wreck that it feels like in my head. The gameplay is as solid as it’s always been, it’s really just the lack of an interesting narrative that torpedoed everything for me.
Then again, I am super not a fan of the weapon grinder, which appears to be the most reliable way to get legendaries…
Fill me in, what does the weapon grinder do?
I like the game, but I’m really not happy with some of the mechanics of it. Like the fact that if you are anywhere that doesn’t have air any loot container blast their contents into the air when you open them. Many of them are right next to cliffs that fall into lava. Much loot is lost to the void because of this mechanic. I find that really stupid. I mean I know that most scav’s are psychotic morons, but come on… I would stash loot in places that don’t involve them blasting it into space every time I open a container.
Also, I ran into a nasty bug at the “Stanton’s Liver” location. After defeating red and belly and dealing with the satellite dish, I went back to find red and belly back alive with not only all minions, but even after killing red and belly AGAIN, the minions just kept coming and had me pinned down where I couldn’t get any ammo or supplies. It was like it was stuck on reset.
Every time I thought I had killed the last minion and tried to get out of there 3 to 6 more would drop and start pounding me again. I finally had to just say screw it and make a run for it only to find that all of the other baddies outside had also reset. Don’t know how many times I died before I finally made it out of that area.
Ooh, is your halloween costume Link? Beardlink is love, beardlink is life.
