I really can’t stress how disturbing the events of this past week have been.  We’ve seen an attempted coup to overthrow the government and half the country was cheering it on.  While Biden’s win was certified by congress, who knows what’s going to happen in the next few weeks and the months beyond as Trump’s followers may continue to lash out.

Folks have called myself and others alarmist (amongst other things) for saying that Donald Trump was an insanely dangerous moron, but those people have ignored the signs for years.  After this week, I really don’t know how much more evidence they need to be convinced that being a Trump follower means that you are an enemy of democracy.  If you think that attacking our elected officials is a good thing, you are a bad person.  If you think that the congressional Republicans who attempted to invalidate state electoral votes were justified, you are a bad person.  If you voted for Donald Trump, you are a bad person.

You just don’t know it, or don’t care.
