I don’t want to say too much about the comic other than if you haven’t seen The Prestige, you should.

What I will talk about however, is garbage.  In yesterday’s Kat’s Korner, I mentioned that our freezer pooped out (temporarily, it’s back up and running).  This created a gooey mess that seeped everywhere.

Jackie and I did a complete overhaul cleaning out the fridge and we are now actually using the crisper, which had previously been functioning as a basin for strange, syrupy goo that had collected down there over the course of the last few years.

This process created a lot of garbage.  Fortunately, Wednesday is garbage day in my neighborhood, so our massive amount of tossed out food wouldn’t have to wait long.

Wednesday morning arrived, I showered up, got dressed, and left for work.

…kind of.

On the way down the stoop I noticed that a cat or something chewed through one of the garbage bags.  In the interest of avoiding a fine for leaving an open bag like that, I went back upstairs to get a fresh garbage bag.

On my way back outside, a guy was walking his dog.  The dog ran right over to our garbage, and peed on it.

I then had the wonderful treat of putting the torn bag in the new one.  How did I do it?

Extremely carefully.
