Corpse Run 128: Had too many spirits
For the past couple of days, I’ve been out of the city and up in the mountains getting some work done, so I haven’t been in the store to meet any new… fun… customers. That said, just before my store absence began, the above strip happened.
Yeah, some chick said she had to charge her Ouija board. It’s a piece of cardboard with letters and simple answers printed on it. What did she mean by charge it? Charge it’s spiritual energy? Charge its… chakra? That’s a thing, right?
Right?
I will spend the rest of my life wondering what it means to charge an Ouija board.
From having Wiccan friends:
Probably a blessing or a full moon. Same thing as “charging” Tarot cards–by playing with them, you essentially (supposedly) “infuse” them with energy, letting them do what they do.
If you don’t believe me, find a person doing Tarot and ask if you can shuffle their cards. They’ll look at you like you just farted in their soup.
Since the game is just cardboard and plastic, she probably meant blessing it, casting a spell on it, or something to do with a full or new moon, or solstice/equinox.
I wish I had Wiccan friends…
